Recognition for a series of exhibitions curated at the Groninger Museum in conjunction with the annual Eurosonic/Noorderslag Festival in Groningen. Exhibitions included The Myth of the Electric Guitar, David Bowie Is, Claude Vanheye and many more.

The Festkomitee des Kölner Karnevals (Cologne Carnival Celebration Committee) awarded the Kulturkamelle to a small group of cultural institutions in Cologne, among which was the Wallraf-Richartz-Museum & Fondation Corboud.
